The Toscana Giaggiolo cooperative is UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade) certified, a recognition that is testament to our commitment to growing and processing irises ethically, sustainably, and with respect for biodiversity.

What is UEBT?

UEBT is an international organisation that promotes the responsible and fair harvesting and production of natural ingredients, protecting the environment, local communities, and workers. In order to obtain this certification you must adhere to rigorous standards regarding:

• The traceability of raw materials.
• The protection of ecosystems and plant life.
• Respect for the rights of those working in the supply chain.
• Transparency in production processes.

A commitment that became a guarantee

For Toscana Giaggiolo the UEBT certification isn’t just a stamp, it’s confirmation of a path that has always guided us: to grow irises with respect for the land, the farmers and future generations.
